Northwest Fiddle Camp: Music, Fun & Adventure in the Bulkley Valley!

Join Valley Youth Fiddlers for an unforgettable week of music, community, and outdoor adventure at Rock Nest Ranch! This 4-day, 5-night camp (Aug 25-30) welcomes musicians (ages 5+) for workshops in fiddle, guitar, keyboard/accordion, plus trad dance, singing, art, and more. Learn from top Canadian musicians, jam by the lake, and enjoy campfires, canoeing, rock climbing, and family dances—all in a stunning mountain setting east of Smithers, BC. Stay on-site, enjoy delicious meals, and immerse yourself in the joy of traditional music!

Who Is This Camp For? Anyone Who Loves Music!

Whether you're a budding fiddler, a seasoned guitarist, or a keyboard enthusiast, this camp is for you! Open to ages 5 to 99, we welcome families, couples, and solo musicians with at least a year of experience on their instrument. With instruction from novice to advanced—and even a potential beginner class—there’s a place for everyone. Explore fiddle, guitar, and keyboard, with extra sessions in mandolin, accordion, or ukulele. Come learn, play, and connect in a supportive, fun-filled environment!
