Join Valley Youth Fiddlers for an unforgettable week of music, community, and outdoor adventure at Rock Nest Ranch! This 4-day, 5-night camp (Aug 25-30) welcomes musicians (ages 5+) for workshops in fiddle, guitar, keyboard/accordion, plus trad dance, singing, art, and more. Learn from top Canadian musicians, jam by the lake, and enjoy campfires, canoeing, rock climbing, and family dances—all in a stunning mountain setting east of Smithers, BC. Stay on-site, enjoy delicious meals, and immerse yourself in the joy of traditional music!
Who Is This Camp For? Anyone Who Loves Music!
Whether you're a budding fiddler, a seasoned guitarist, or a keyboard enthusiast, this camp is for you! Open to ages 5 to 99, we welcome families, couples, and solo musicians with at least a year of experience on their instrument. With instruction from novice to advanced—and even a potential beginner class—there’s a place for everyone. Explore fiddle, guitar, and keyboard, depending on interest and instructor availability we will have extra sessions in mandolin, accordion, hand drumming or ukulele. Come learn, play, and connect in a supportive, fun-filled environment!
